Krystal is an illustrator and visual artist based between the New York City boroughs of Bronx and Brooklyn. She has been busy making drawings in her room since she could hold a pencil, creating pieces that are lively fun and dimensional. After studying illustration and fine arts at Pratt Institute Krystal graduated with a BFA in Communication Design and now continues to work with clients on publication and editorial projects. She has worked with The Smithsonian Institution, TED ideas and The Nation collaborating on illustrations that bring upon social awareness and thinking. Krystal also enjoys her work in children’s book publishing, her first published book by author Jamia Wilson titled ABC’s of AOC invites children to learn about democracy and inclusivity. Krystal strives to create art that emanates joy and promotes positive change.
