How it Works
About
Women for Refugee Women
Women for Refugee Women, support women who have fled persecution including rape, gender-based violence, domestic violence, forced marriage, female-genital cutting, sexual violence, torture, and trafficking to rebuild their lives on their own terms.
But when women arrive to the UK seeking safety, they are disbelieved by default, heartlessly detained at random, forced into poverty and are often left to ‘live’ in atrocious accommodation.
Applications for refugee and asylum status can take years in the UK as a result of a system that has been purposefully built to break people.
